The care that comes after
Jilina Health is building The Jilina Pathway: integrated lifelong care for women from ovarian transition onwards.
Pregnancy gets a pathway.
The decades after fertility should too.
The structural gap
Women’s healthcare was built around reproduction. Contraception, pregnancy, postnatal care and cervical screening all have structures around them. When ovarian transition begins, the pathway fragments.
Women are left to navigate hormones, metabolism, bone, cardiometabolic risk, genitourinary tissue, sleep, mood, cognition and prevention through disconnected appointments and advice.
The answer is not that no one cares.
The answer is that the system was designed for a different purpose, and no one has redesigned it.
The Jilina Pathway
The Jilina Pathway is an integrated, clinician-led model of care for women from ovarian transition onwards: structured assessment, risk stratification, evidence-led prescribing where clinically appropriate, monitoring, prevention, follow-up and escalation when complexity requires it.
The model combines nurse-prescriber-led continuity with GP-governed clinical oversight. Hormones are one tool where appropriate; integration is the product.
Jilina Health is not a menopause appointment.
It is The Jilina Pathway.
A category, not a niche
Women now spend decades after ovarian transition. The clinical infrastructure for those decades has not been built.
The result is a fragmented market: hormone clinics that prescribe but do not coordinate; metabolic services that ignore hormonal context; bone services in isolation; genitourinary and intimate-health symptoms that go unconnected for years. Each gap is treated as a separate transaction. None resolves the underlying problem — that no one is holding the whole picture.
Jilina Health is being built to hold that picture: clinically governed, protocolised, recurring and transferable. The Jilina Pathway is the product. Everything That Comes After is the argument behind it.
What the pathway covers
Hormone assessment and treatment where clinically appropriate
Cardiometabolic health, weight and metabolic risk
Bone density, muscle and body composition
Genitourinary, intimate and sexual health
Sleep, mood and cognition
Long-term prevention, monitoring and review

Angela Jilina is the founder of Jilina Health. She began her career in finance and private equity. Volunteering on hospital wards during the Covid pandemic drew her into healthcare, and she went on to complete an MSc in Adult Nursing at King's College London before qualifying as a Nurse Independent Prescriber.
Her clinical work in menopause and women's health led to The Jilina Pathway: an integrated model for women from ovarian transition onwards, spanning hormones, metabolic health, bone, muscle, intimate health, mood, sleep, cognition and prevention.
